We wanted to share a part-time internship opportunity through the CSNK2A1 Foundation in collaboration with the CSNK2B Foundation for a Research & Stakeholder Engagement Intern supporting a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Engagement Award–funded patient-centered research initiative.

This project will support cross-community stakeholder engagement across CSNK2A1-related and CSNK2B-related neurodevelopmental disorder communities, including development of a shared comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) agenda, a stakeholder-informed research lexicon, and future patient-centered research priorities.

    Key details
    • U.S.-based graduate students or recent graduates (Master’s or PhD) in neuroscience, genetics, public health, biomedical sciences, or related fields
    • Remote, part-time commitment (~2–10 hours/week
    • June 2026 – February 2027
    • Required in-person convening in Denver, CO: December 2–4, 2026 (travel covered)
    • $1,000 total stipend
    Application deadline: May 28, 2026

This role is a strong fit for trainees interested in rare disease research, neurodevelopmental disorders, translational science, and patient-centered research.
