    Good day everyone –

The Kaiser Permanente Center for Gun Violence Research and Education has launched its 2026 Fall Funding Opportunity—continuing the Center’s commitment to building the evidence needed to strengthen healthcare’s role in preventing and responding to firearm violence and firearm suicide.

Through this opportunity, the Center will support rigorous evaluation research that informs healthcare systems change related to firearm violence and/or firearm suicide prevention and intervention. As with all Center funding opportunities, applicants are to engage those most impacted, cultivate strong community partnerships, and support the development of emerging researchers. We encourage applications from organizations working with hospitals, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), and other community-based health centers.

The Center expects to fund up to two projects, with awards of up to $1.25 million each over three years.

Letters of Intent (LOIs) are due Wednesday, October 14, at 3 PM ET | 12 PM PT.
