Applications Now Open: 2027 Single Ventricle Research Fund

Additional Ventures is now accepting applications for the 2027 cycle of the Single Ventricle Research Fund (SVRF), our flagship research award program!

The 2027 SVRF welcomes research aligned with the focus areas and strategic topics described in Additional Ventures’ 2026 Research Roadmap. We are particularly interested in proposals that seek to elucidate the mechanisms underlying, prevent, or reverse the interrelated organ- and multi-organ-level sequelae that contribute to long-term morbidity and mortality.

Applicants may pursue either of the following SVRF tracks:

• Independent Investigator Track, which is open to both tenure and non-tenure track independent investigators — including instructors, assistant professors, and tenured faculty — and provides up to $600,000 in direct costs
• Career Development Track, which is open to postdoctoral fellows or postdoc equivalents who hold mentored positions and provides up to $300,000 in direct costs
