This initial session introduced HRA members to our sponsoring host, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Conquer Cancer, and our funding sponsors, the Alzheimer’s Association, BrightFocus Foundation, Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and the Donaghue Foundation. Representatives from each organization highlighted their nonprofit biomedical funding mission and how the organization interfaces with the Health Research Alliance. The session closed with a welcome and opening statement from HRA’s Executive Director, Christine Riordan.
