Building on past presentations where we spotlighted the individual efforts of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Foundation Fighting Blindness, and JDRF, in another of our Venture Philanthropy series we heard from Mark Roithmayr, CEO of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF).

Mark gave a brief presentation on the ADDF’s venture model, then focused more broadly on an organizational checklist to consider before taking on venture philanthropy as a model for your organization. Keys for success, pitfalls and traps along the way all were discussed in detail.
