DEI Community Call: How Minority Serving Institutions Advance Antiracism & DEI [September 14, 2023]

This DEI Community Call explored the recent NASEM report on Advancing Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in STEMM Organizations by highlighting information and recommendations related to how Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) support antiracism and DEI, and how funders can successfully work with these institutions to achieve their goals. The short presentation was followed by a panel discussion to learn from panelists’ experiences with MSIs as a student/trainee and faculty member, and as a funder who has worked with MSIs to develop or implement funding programs.
