Overview: The Mussallem CHD Alliance is seeking a Director of Operations to build and lead the operational backbone of a highly mission-driven organization. This is a senior execution role responsible for translating leadership’s vision into durable, scalable administrative and financial infrastructure that enables disciplined growth, rigorous grantmaking, and effective program delivery.
This role offers a rare opportunity to architect the internal systems of a well-funded foundation at an early stage of development, ensuring that capital, compliance, technology, and vendor partnerships are structured to support long-term impact. The Director of Operations will perform and oversee (for outsourced functions) the day-to-day operational execution across grants management, financial coordination, outsourced partner oversight, and organizational systems, bringing visibility, structure, and accountability to the organization’s core functions. This work will directly enable the Alliance to deploy resources effectively, strengthen institutional partnerships, and accelerate progress in improving outcomes for children born with congenital heart disease.
