Sharing DEI challenges and progress among HRA Members

The September meeting of the DEI working group focused on increasing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our grant portfolios.  Discussion topics:

• • Do you prioritize DEI in your grantee portfolio and if so why?
  • What is the racial/ethnic representation of your applicants and awardees?
  • What would you like to improve, what are your goals?
  • Are you satisfied with the resources available to improve your processes, including engagement from your organization’s leadership?

We also discussed next steps including prioritizing topics and scheduling a standing call.
