Building stronger drug and other therapy development innovation ecosystems – A Case Study [Webinar March 9, 2021]
The Flinn Foundation launched the bioscience Entrepreneurship Program in 2014 to foster entrepreneurship and help bioscience founders/CEOs develop their early-stage companies into successful and sustainable businesses bringing new therapies, medical devices, and medical technologies to the market . 8 years on, with over 40 investments in companies such as GT Medical, developer of the GammeTile, a new treatment for people with brain tumors and Iron Horse Diagnostics, the developer of a diagnostic for the early detection of ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease what have we learned? The presentation will discuss the program design and outcomes, and the goal to build a similar program to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset of our research scientists and clinician community.
