- Open Behavior is Valued Rubric NASEM 2020
The “Sending Signals” subgroup of the NASEM’s Roundtable on Aligning Incentives for Open Science developed language that funders and universities are beginning to use to send a clear signal to researchers that we value their “open” behavior. Open behavior includes (but is not limited to) publishing in Open Access journals, posting preprints, and sharing data, code, protocols and other research outputs. This document contains modifiable text for grant or job applications, progress reports, and biosketch instructions.
