Join the HRA Program Evaluation Community webinar on May 1 at 2:00 PM ET to explore different approaches to assessing the long-term impact of funding with fellow members Diane Bovenkamp (VP, Scientific Affairs at BrightFocus Foundation), Brent Dolezalek (VP of Operations, JSMF), and Jen Mortensen (National Director, Program Evaluation, American Heart Association). The discussion will cover a range of methodologies, from questionnaires to electronic tools like Altum/Proposal Central and Lyrasis/ORCID for tracking researcher activities. Participants will also learn from fellow HRA members about citation analysis using Web of Science/InCite, AI-driven analysis of abstracts and keywords, and the use of grant summaries and visualization software to examine field trends over time. This session will offer insights into both the strengths and limitations of various impact assessment strategies. Bring your questions and your own experiences for this 45-minute session.
