Dear Colleagues,
We are reviewing our Fellowship grant amount and I would welcome your shared info about similar grants you may fund. Our Fellowships fund postdoctoral scientists working on Aging and Diabetes/Metabolic Syndrome areas of research in CA.
Currently we fund these grants as follows:
- $75,000 annually for up to 3 years (they typically all go 3 years)
- Effort Requirement: 100%
- Indirect Costs: 10% max
- Other: $2,500 of grant can be used for travel each year (we require them to attend our annual meeting where they present and have Q&A with peers)
If you have similar Fellowships at your organization (could be in any medical research field) I would really appreciate you sharing a breakdown similar to what I’ve listed here. Thanks in advance.
