Dear HRA Community,
It was a pleasure connecting with so many of you at the recent HRA Annual Meeting. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to share ideas, learn from your programs, and introduce our new initiative, the Everyday Scientists video project.
As we continue to roll out the series, we’d love to amplify the voices of your trainees and grantees as well. The project invites scientists to create short, accessible videos, highlighting what they study, and why it matters. These videos are shared publicly on the Everyday Scientists YouTube channel.
Our ask: Help us spread the word by encouraging your grantees to participate! This is a great opportunity for them to practice science communication, build confidence in speaking about their work, and be featured as part of a growing community of passionate researchers.
If you or your team have any questions, or if you’d like sample materials to share with your community, please don’t hesitate to reach out (j[email protected]). We’d be more than happy to provide guidance, resources, or examples.
Warmly,
Jamie Garcia, PhD
